Just finished a five day traverse of the Bailey Range, Olympic Mountains. We visited a less traveled area known as Stephen Basin. It was tough landscape to walk on in minimalist footwear. Millions of razor sharp rocks do not agree with the feet. Then add record setting heat wave to boot. (That was a pun) Followed by a 24 hour thunder storm event.
