With a last minute message on the ol' internet, I was out the door with a friend. We had various options for the day, but decided on exploring some
off trail parts of the Elwha River. Taking time to experience the small things has its benefits. I have grown to prefer this style of the outdoors, over putting in long milage days. Perhaps that is the greatest life lesson of all. Stop, ground yourself, look around and enjoy the moment.
