 Hey folks, I’m Coach Jake!

I am an avid outdoorsman and adventurer as well as a professional personal trainer and fitness coach offering new fitness services and postural analysis in Forks, Washington.  I have over 20 years experience in the fitness industry and outdoors industry. I am here to help you!  I have multiple 150-day backpacking trips under my belt, which helped me to create a strong bond with, and understanding of, muscle balance, body mechanics, and wellness in general.  I’d like to share my knowledge with you!

I’m now accepting new clients in Forks, Washington. Offering no membership, no equipment fitness outdoor programs at our local park. These programs focus on posture first and use your own bodyweight as the workout. Available as a private one-on-one session or as a group as a lower cost option (upon request).  


I am so looking forward to helping you in your wellness and fitness journey.  I find it so rewarding to help you get out of the house, and into the great outdoors.  I am grateful to help you to cultivate healthier lifestyle choices and to implement those into real, positive habits.   


Along with general fitness and weight loss benefits, my specialty is posture, stride and gate improvements.  Used to lower risk of injuries and improve quality of life, let me help you to answer this question:   WHY do I keep getting injured?


Before moving to Forks, I helped hundreds of clients in Port Angeles.  My wonderful clients in PA lost weight, overcame injuries, met their hiking goals, and developed skills to have the self sufficient physicality to complete backpacking trips. I helped people go from walking 5k's to running full marathons.     


I have trained ultra marathon runners, iron man competitors, competitive bodybuilders, and professional paddlers. I have trained mountain bikers, rowers, climbers, hunters, cyclers, rafters, fire fighters, emt's, first responders including law enforcement officers, outdoor guides, and many professional couch sitters (haha!).     



I have trained runners for the North Olympic Discovery Marathon, Seattle Marathon, and Victoria Marathon, and have trained participants in The Big Hurt, Iron Man, and my own proprietary events I created for my own clients:  OutdoorFit Group Bootcamp and 7-Hour OutdoorFit Endurance Event.
